Some one had sent Lisa M. from "Those Headcoverings" a note about a "International Day of Christian Veiling".The note was about helping people to be able to stand by their convictions. The note said that several people had contacted the note's writer about getting all kinds of flack from wearing a head covering - so thus in support of people's rights to follow their convictions she was thinking a day or recognition would be appropriate.
Since I was one of the people mentioned in the note (at least I think Ms. M - is me?) I suggested coming up with a logo for this event. As far as I know there is no date set yet; but I have come up with a logo.
This is a drawing I did that was scanned into Microsoft paint and edited. There's no wording on it - but I can put wording on it. Just decided to post it to see what people think?

ohh what a truly lovely picture... I love the way they are all facing the same way, towards HaShem. I love the way the each is so clearly different and yet joined together as sisters. I love exploring their different faces and find myself wondering what their prayers might be.

I wanted to let you know I gave you link love for this post. I love the picture and I think it's an awesome idea, to try to raise awareness about the Christian women who practice head covering.
